These terms explain how buying from Naked Wood Works works on this website. By placing an order, you agree to them. We have tried to keep them short and in plain words, the same way we would explain them to you in person at our shop in Pryor, Oklahoma.
Personalized items are made to order
Everything we sell is personalized and made to order for you. Nothing is pulled off a shelf. Once your order is placed, our designer lays out the names, dates, text or logo you gave us, and we make the piece from there. Orders are made to order in 3-5 business days, then they ship. Shipping time depends on the option you choose at checkout.
Your wording and proofs
We engrave names, dates and wording exactly as you enter them at checkout, so please check every name, every letter and every date before you order. Personalized orders do not get a proof. Logo and custom-artwork orders get a free digital proof: you approve it, and the approved proof is what we engrave. If you need a change after ordering or approving, message us right away. If we have not engraved yet, we will do what we can. Once a piece has been engraved, it cannot be changed.
Real wood varies
Our boards, coasters, ornaments and guest book signs are made from real wood. Grain pattern, color, knots and tone vary from piece to piece and from the photos on this site. Maple and walnut in particular differ in color from board to board, and the engraving can look slightly darker or lighter depending on the wood. That variation is part of working with real wood, not a defect.
Logos and images you upload
When you upload a logo or image, you confirm that you have the right to use it and that you are allowed to have it engraved. We may decline to engrave something we believe infringes someone else’s rights, or that we are not comfortable making.
Prices and payment
Prices are listed in US dollars. The final price, including any add-ons, shipping and applicable tax, is set and shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is handled through our checkout provider and its payment processor. We may correct pricing errors, and if an error affects an order you already placed, we will contact you before we make it.
Returns and problems
Personalized items are made for you, with your names or logo on them, so we cannot resell them and do not accept returns for a change of mind. If something is wrong on our end, such as an engraving that does not match what you entered or your approved proof, or damage in shipping, message us with your order number and a photo and we will fix it.
Text messages
If you check the text message consent box, you agree to receive reminders and offers from Naked Wood Works at the mobile number you gave us. The box is never checked for you, and agreeing is not a condition of buying anything. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, or HELP for help. Limitation of liability
We make every piece with care and we fix what we get wrong. Beyond that, to the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not responsible for indirect losses, such as a missed event, that come from delays in shipping or other things outside our control. This does not take away any rights you have that the law does not allow us to limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here, with its “Last updated” date, applies to orders placed after that date.
