A laser-engraving woodshop in Pryor, Oklahoma
Naked Wood Works is a small laser-engraving woodshop in Pryor, Oklahoma. We make personalized gifts out of wood and glass, and every piece is made to order after you tell us what it should say.
The shop is run by Jackson, with a small team around him: a designer who lays out every order and production staff who cut, engrave, sand, check and pack. It is a real shop with a real laser, a lot of sawdust and people who read your order before it goes on the machine.
What we make
Most of our work is engraved boards. Cutting boards, serving boards and charcuterie boards, each cut from one solid slab of maple or walnut. They come in 8x12 and 10x14 inches at 0.75 inch thick, 12x16 inches at 1.5 inches thick, and a 16x24 inch walnut board at 1.5 inches thick. You can add a display stand, conditioning oil, a handwritten card or paper gift wrap.
Around the boards we make the things that tend to go with them:
- Wood coasters in maple or walnut, in sets of 2, 4, 8 or 16.
- 21 oz stemless wine glasses, laser engraved, single or in sets of 2, 4 or 8.
- Engraved wood ornaments, single or in sets of 2, 5 or 10.
- Wedding guest book signs, from a 20 inch sign for 30 to 45 guests up to a 48 inch sign for 200 to 250 guests.
- Wedding cake toppers.

How an order works
Nothing sits on a shelf waiting for you. When you order, you give us the names, the date, the family name or the logo, and our designer builds the layout. Names and dates are engraved exactly as you type them; logo and custom-artwork orders get a free digital proof first. Then we engrave, finish and pack it. Orders are made to order in 3-5 business days, and if you are working against a date, ask us about rush.
What we are trying to make
A cutting board is a useful thing. What people actually order from us is usually something else: a wedding, a fifth anniversary, a first house, a closing, a retirement, a family name with the year it started. The board is how that date ends up in a kitchen.
So we aim for the gift that is still sitting on their counter twenty years from now, a little worn, still in use. That shapes how we work. Solid wood instead of something that falls apart. Clean, readable engraving instead of clutter. Engraving exactly what you typed, because a misspelled name is not something you can sand out, so we never guess.
