Shipping and processing
Every Naked Wood Works order is made to order in 3-5 business days in our shop in Pryor, Oklahoma, and then it ships. Shipping costs and options are shown at checkout, so you see the full total before you pay.
Why it takes a few days
Nothing we sell is sitting in a box waiting to go. When your order comes in, our designer lays out your names and date exactly as you typed them, and we engrave, sand, finish and pack the piece. Logo and custom-artwork orders get a free digital proof first, and we engrave after you approve it. That is what the 3-5 business days cover. Shipping time comes after that.
On logo orders, approving your proof quickly keeps things moving. If we are waiting on a reply about a logo or a layout, we hold off on engraving until we hear from you.
Shipping options and cost
Checkout shows the destinations we ship to, the shipping options available for your address and what each one costs. Pick the one that fits your timing. We do not promise a delivery date, because once a package leaves our shop the carrier sets the pace.
Rush orders
A rush option exists. If you need something for a specific date, ask us about rush before you place the order, and tell us the date. We will look at what is already on the schedule and give you a straight answer.
Plan around the date
Most of what we make is for a day that will not move: a wedding, an anniversary, a closing, Christmas. The easy way to get it there on time is to order early. Count back from the date: allow 3-5 business days to make it (plus a day or two for the proof on logo orders), and the shipping time shown at checkout, then give yourself some room.
Guest book signs deserve a little extra lead time, since you will want the sign in hand before the wedding, not the week of it.
If something arrives damaged
Wood is sturdy, glass less so, and boxes get handled roughly sometimes. If your package arrives damaged, message us through the contact page with your order number and a photo of the item and the box. We will make it right.
For questions about the pieces themselves, see our FAQ and the care page.
