This policy explains what information Naked Wood Works collects on this website, why we collect it and what we do with it. We are a small laser-engraving woodshop in Pryor, Oklahoma, and we only collect what we need to make your order, send the reminders you ask for and understand whether our ads work.

What we collect

Gift quiz answers. When you use the gift quiz, we collect your answers. Depending on the path you take, that can include who the gift is for, a date such as your anniversary date or a wedding date, a budget range, a brokerage name and number of closings if you are a real estate agent, or a gift quantity and date if you are ordering for a business.

Contact details. If you choose to give them to us in the quiz or a form, we collect your first name, email address and mobile phone number, and whether you checked the box agreeing to receive text messages.

Order details. When you buy something, our checkout provider, Snipcart, collects your name, shipping and billing address, email address, the items you ordered and the personalization you entered, such as names, dates and messages. Payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number.

Uploaded files. On logo products you can upload a logo or image file. Those files are handled and stored by our file upload provider, Uploadcare, so our designer can use them for your order.

Ad measurement. This site uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram). It records things like which pages you visit, when you add something to your cart, and when you complete a purchase or submit the quiz, so we can measure our ads and show them to people likely to be interested.

Why we use it

• To make and ship your order, and to send you order updates and, on logo orders, your proof.
• To send the reminders you asked for, such as a note before your anniversary, by email and, only if you agreed, by text message.
• To answer your messages and inquiries, including realtor and business orders.
• To measure and improve our advertising.

Text messages

We only send text messages if you checked the text message consent box. That box is never checked for you. By checking it, you agree to receive reminders and offers from Naked Wood Works at the number you gave us. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. You can also reply HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying anything.

We do not sell your personal information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the shop, such as our checkout provider, payment processor, file upload provider, the tool we use to send email and text messages, and shipping carriers, and only as needed for them to do that work.

Cookies and the Meta Pixel

Our checkout and the Meta Pixel use cookies and similar technology to keep your cart working and to measure ads. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage ad preferences in your Meta account settings. Blocking cookies may stop the cart from working properly.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as we need them for the order, for our own records and for tax purposes. We keep reminder details, like your anniversary date, until you ask us to delete them or you opt out.

Your choices and deletion

You can unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any email, and stop text messages by replying STOP. To ask what information we have about you, to correct it or to have it deleted, send us a message through our contact page. We will handle your request and let you know when it is done. We may need to keep some order records where the law requires it.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the shop and the site change. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be posted here before they take effect.
