About this design
Your last-name initial is engraved large, with the full last name set across it in capitals. Your first names arch across the top of a dotted double ring and your established date runs along the bottom. It fills the board without crowding it, and it reads well on light maple or dark walnut.
Pick maple, which is light and creamy, or walnut, which is dark brown with more grain movement. It comes in 8x12, 10x14 or 12x16 inches, or 16x24 in walnut; the two larger sizes are 1.5 in thick.
